Contemporary Art Gallery

A collection of Contemporary Artworks

Including Canadian Masters such as Jean-Paul Riopelle, David Sorenson, Lise Gervais, Robert Hendrick

The Floating Gallery, in French called La Galerie Flottante, is a travelling art gallery and art school that pops up in random locations, bringing a world of art and imagination to the doorstep of everyday citizens in their own community.

The Raison D'être of the Floating Gallery is two-fold:
One is to teach both children and adults a creative process that is informed and inspired by the history of Abstract and Contemporary Art.

Two is to present a series of curated exhibitions featuring the works of local artists as well as works by local art students ages 7 to 103.

The online Floating Gallery is affiliated with several Canadian galleries which have access to the masters such as Jean-Paul Riopelle, Karel Appel, Marcelle Ferron, as well as as talented upcoming contemporary artists.

LA GALERIE FLOTTANTE is an excellent venue for building a distinctive  and lasting art collection.
